A good morning for a walk around Wentworth Falls Lake organised by the fabulous crew at Walk 'n' Talk For Life Blue Mountains Some new faces received their free Walk 'n' Talk For Life t shirts sponsored by our Community Bank! They were joined by a lovely couple who drove up from Luddenham who saw the walk promoted on Ask Roz Blue Mountains .
Did you know that Walk 'n' Talk For Life Blue Mountains are all volunteers and is an action group of caring people who want to help in preventing su***de in our community.

We are very proud to support our local RSPCA Volunteer Shelter over the years. From Water tanks for the shelter in North Katoomba to Open Days, to Cupcake Day and the Shelter's major fundraiser, the RSPCA Million Paws Walk. After a couple of years' break due to COVID, we are very happy to say that the Million Paws Walk is BACK in 2022! Tickets are available online, and remember that every ticket purchased helps our local shelter. It's a social day for your hound as well as the humans!

Our Story
We have assisted over 140 Community Groups and not for profits, returning $600,000.00 and to this community.
Our Branch is in Katoomba with an Agency now in Blackheath at Blackheath Newsagency.
Our area extends from Lithgow to Lapstone - a distance of 100km and some 15 very separate villages. The population of this area totals aover 25,000 and boasts a very active community spirit that makes it such an attractive place to live.
In 2012, the Branch hosted the first Community Forum, with over 100 community members, representing many different organisations. The intention was to invite the 'community' to put forward their ideas for the future of our area. The Branch is currently working on several selected ideas from this invaluable forum and is considering how these ideas might be progressed in the longer term. This is expected to be a long term investment in our future.
Since opening and up until October 2013, the Branch has given back $500,000.00 to some 230 organisations in our area. Some of those are: RSPCA Cupcake Day, Million Paws Walk, School Eco/Sustainability Festivals, SES, RFS, Basketball Clubs, Bike Clubs, Cricket Clubs, School Breakfast Programs, several Tourism Festivals, Garden Clubs, School Educational forums, Book Clubs, Conservation and Heritage Groups, Writer's Festival, Disability Care, Art Shows, Theatre Groups, Hospital Fundraising Events, Annual Christmas Carols, Village Celebration Events & Festivals - to name just a few!
We have four Bank branded marquees that are free to use and very regularly seen out and about - available for your event! Pop into the Branch for an Application form.
