34-year-old Miriam Kronengold is a mother of 6.

She arrived at Ezer Mizion’s womens’ event last week with her 1.5 week old baby, because she didn’t want to miss such a fun event.

Miriam was diagnosed with cancer during her pregnancy and together with the help of the doctors, she received treatment while pregnant.

She calls Beit Oranit, the “shining light for my kids”. Even though their mother is sick, the kids are still having fun at Beit Oranit. The care they receive by the staff, who tries to do everything for the kids is amazing, from every day routine to emotional support.

Ezer Mizion’s staff are always there to hug and to hold. “After a very tiring visit at the hospital, I’ll always find an Ezer Mizion volunteer who waits for me with a cup of coffee and a piece of cake”.

“I wanted to make sure it goes to someone who really needs it”, said 13.5 year old Hannah Ginsberg, when she gave us her cut braid to donate to cancer patients.
Generous people donate their hair all the time. What makes Hannah so special is the fact that she took the time to research and choose the organization she’d like to donate her hair to.
Hannah choose Ezer Mizion as her charity because of the amazing stories she has heard about the organization. She felt connected to her Jewish faith, and was extremely happy when we told her that her braid will be HAND DELIVERED to our office in Israel this week.
We promised Hannah we will do everything in our power to let her know who is wearing her wig with her hair in it.
Hannah has also asked to volunteer and help as much as she can to raise awareness for the organization here in Canada.
We are so proud of Hannah for choosing Ezer Mizion.
