Unfortunately we have just been informed that the protest will now be gathering in the Bigg Market tomorrow instead of at Grey’s Monument. This means we won’t be able to open until the area is completely clear and safe at about 3pm tomorrow (Saturday).

For everyone with an evening booking tomorrow don’t worry it’s business as usual after 3pm. We are currently contacting all lunch bookings to cancel or rearrange another date.

Evening everyone! Loads of phone calls this week requesting info ahead of Saturday’s planned disruption in Newcastle.

So far we are kind of playing it by ear! After getting the all clear from the council/police, we will be opening as usual on Saturday and everyone booked in for our NE1 restaurant week offer will still be able to dine with us as planned. However we won’t be putting our outdoor furniture out as a safety precaution, so space may be slightly more limited than usual.

Our main priority is the safety of our customers and of our staff so if you have a booking with us on Saturday but you feel you’d rather give it a miss, we completely understand but please do cancel your booking rather than just not showing up as it really helps us to plan ahead … To cancel your booking please give us a call on 0191 2602577.

As per usual we were pretty much fully booked around two days after the NE1 Restaurant Week dates were released 😅

But don’t worry! Being the Sneaky Greekys that we are we’ve kept some last minute availability offline for our regular customers to book once that initial booking frenzy cleared 😉

So if you’d like to book a table during the 5th - 12th of August to take advantage of our Restaurant Week offer please head to our website NOW!! As we have just added our last available tables to our online booking system. They will probably be gone by the end of this week so please don’t hang about 🏃🏃‍♀️
