Meet Dr Zhang Huiyu, our finalist for the President’s Award for Teachers 2024! 🌟🏆

Dr Zhang is an educational innovator. Her passion for tech in the classroom has led to amazing tools like AI-enabled chatbots, which help track student learning and engagement. 📊🤖 Her work earned her the Education Innovation Award in 2023! 🎓🏅

She’s also created an app to boost empathy among students in Hospitality and Tourism Management. 🌍💡 As a Senior Academic Mentor, Dr Zhang shares her expertise across schools, making learning more interactive and personalised for everyone. 🎮📚

🚓🔍 Our Diploma in Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics students recently hosted an exciting visit for the RSN team! 🚢✨

It was an eye-opening event for everyone involved. Our students had the chance to showcase their knowledge and skills, while the RSN team got an inside look at the work being done in cybersecurity and digital forensics. 💻🛡️

Have you heard about IOAI? 🤔 It stands for the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence. 🌐 This prestigious annual competition is designed for high school students who are passionate about AI. 🤖 The very first edition of IOAI took place from August 9th to August 15th, 2024, in Bulgaria.

And guess what? There’s always a first for everything! 🌟 For this inaugural event, our student Ng Shiyu from the Diploma in AAI, along with 3 team members from NUS High, won a Gold Medal in the Scientific Round! 🏅🎉

If you’re interested in joining this Olympiad next year, make sure to follow them closely. IOAI is an annual competition, so stay tuned for the next chance to embark on this thrilling world of AI! 🚀🔍

🎉 Congrats to Sim Wen Xuan Rachel from IIT for receiving the ISACA GTACS Singapore Youth Leader Award 2024! 🏆🎖️

Rachel, a Year 3 Diploma in Cybersecurity & Digital Forensics student, received the award from Mr. Tan Kiat How (Senior Minister of State/Ministry of Digital Development & Information) for her exceptional performance and influence in cybersecurity, governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance. 🕵️‍♀️💻

Besides acing her studies, she’s a TP Scholar, Honorary Secretary of the TP-ISACA Student Chapter, and a keen archer. 🎯🏹

Rachel’s love for ethical hacking and her participation in “Capture The Flag” competitions fuel her passion for making the digital world safer. 🚀🔒 Keep shining, Rachel! 🌟👏

The WorldSkills Competition (Skills Olympics) is happening in Lyon, France from September 11-14, 2024! And guess what? TEAM TEMASEK is representing us on the global stage! 🌍🔥
