As a lad I would sneak into the pool atop City Center (then the Cascade Holiday Inn). At the Quaker Square gameroom I was fully Master of my Realm, able to coax free games out of most machines, having such a supple wrist. When I returned to Akron as an adult I spent fully 11 years working with area teens and young adults at Morley, my street cred cemented by skateboarding Akron's hills to and from work. Now we watch these behemoths crumble to dust...
