It's International Cat Day which inspired me to make a post about Emotional Support Animals! 😸ESAs are more than just pets; they provide holistic benefits to people with disabilities such as improving symptoms of depression and anxiety. ❤️
Lots of different animals can be ESAs like snakes, bearded dragons, and even tarantulas! 🐍
If you have a disability and a pet who helps you with it, consider speaking with your medical provider about getting a letter to document them as your Emotional Support Animal.

While we would always love it if you got your regular HIV screenings with us, we get it that doing it at home is too convenient! That's why we are promoting OHIV.org where you can request condoms and rapid HIV tests to be delivered directly to you 🥰
As always, CANAPI offers HIV testing by appointment and walk-ins Tuesday nights from 5pm-7pm.

Today marks the 34th anniversary of the ADA, a law that provided increased protections and and guarantees certain rights to Americans with disabilities. Happy Disability Independence Day 🤝

Ohio has so much to offer between scenic rural landscapes, vibrant urban communities, and stunning State and National parks. Our State is as diverse as its people are, and we celebrate that. And yet, the most disenfranchised people are being pushed out more and more every year due to an increasing lack of quality affordable housing. We need our politicians to prioritize housing in Ohio.

Consuming a well-balanced diet is especially important for people living with HIV which is why CANAPI continues to operate its bi-weekly Organic Choice Food Pantry🥦
This year, CANAPI has provided 1,095 meals to people living with HIV through bags of fresh produce, dairy products, and protein 🤝
The next pantry date is on July 25th; registration opens on July 18th.

People living with HIV who take their medicine as prescribed and maintain an undetectable viral load, cannot transmit the virus to their partners. U=U 🥰
