In these eschatological times, apostasy has become prominent in our society. God's people are under attack by seducing spirits that not only manifest outside of our places of worship, but often times, because of what has manifested within the walls of our sanctuaries, have taken root before our Altar’s. While speaking to the people of Philippi, the Apostle Paul shared this testimony,
“I am a pure-blooded citizen of Israel and a member of the tribe of Benjamin; a “real” Hebrew if there ever was one! I was a member of the Pharisees, who demanded the strictest adherence to the Jewish law. i was so zealous, that I harshly persecuted the church.”
“I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. Everything else is worthless compared with the infinite value of knowing my Lord. For His sake, I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ.” Philippians 3:5-8 (NLT)
It’s time for every believer to “know Jesus Christ.” Join us for this 6-week journey at The Armour Institute.

There are 3 “Solemn Feast” that occur around the Resurrection; (Passover, The Feast of Weeks, and The Feast of Tabernacles.) The Feast of Weeks occurs 7 weeks after the Resurrection, and occurs “50” days after it, which is what Pentecost means in Greek (Fifty).
The purpose of attending the feast, was to “offer a sacrifice as thanksgiving for God’s provision.” It’s “The Sacrifice” we’ll concentrate on together in worship. I’m looking forward to seeing you.

Our Story
In these eschatological times, apostasy has become prominent in our society. God's people have been turned over to a reprobate mind due to the seducing spirits that not only manifest outside of our places of worship, but often times because of what has manifested within the walls of our sanctuaries. God's edict to "Study to show thyself approved unto God" has been replaced with a total submission to the message of the expositor on Sunday morning.
About our Leader...
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Bishop Johnson credits the Kingdom Community, and strong spiritual influences that surrounded him while growing up, for the bold determination he developed to seek the powers and principalities of God’s manifold wisdom.
Today, Bishop Michael V. Johnson is Founder and Pastor of Armour of God Ministries, an Exegetical Ministry Model dedicated to developing an encyclopedic knowledge of the Word of God, in the people of God, located in Naperville, Illinois. Armour of God has 20 Ministries that serve as our Bishop’s “assignments and missions in the Kingdom.” Some of which are, The Polymath Project, a Mentoring Program dedicated to instructing participants in multiple disciplines in preparation for adulthood; The Shephard’s Ministerial Praxis, a program designed to prepare to fruition, ministerial aspirates for effective Preaching Ministry; The Ancestor Project, an Elderly Outreach Program which visits local Assisted Living Facilities to comfort the elderly; Un|Broken, a “Step Program’ that is participant driven, to interpenetratingly counsel individuals to healing and completion from overwhelming valley experiences and grief; and publications such as the Sword of the Spirit Devotional and Your Daily Bread to name a few.
Bishop Johnson is a duly consecrated Bishop of the Lord’s Church with Dual Apostolic Succession. His academic achievements include having been conferred a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Finance from Kent State University, a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) in Doctrinal Theology, a Master of Theology (Th.M.) in Philosophy of Religion, and a Ph.D. in Philosophy and Theology, all of which were conferred from Princeton Theological Seminary. Bishop Johnson serves in Theological Academia as a Professor of Theology and the Philosophy of Religions.
Bishop Johnson sees himself as a Servant first, whose mission is to revitalize the Kingdom Community spiritually, and deliver the message of Salvation to the Body of Christ. He is married to Latoya and is the father of three children.
