Stars Under the Stars
Stars Under the Stars premiered in 1998 as a Leadership Farmville project. Since then, over thirty volunteers have shown cinema's classics "under the stars."
Join us at dusk at Crute Stage on the second Friday of every June, July, and August.
Who's ready to sing?
We are hopeful that the rain has moved on, and we're looking forward to seeing all of you at Crute Stage tonight for our final film of the season. Bring your chairs and blankets to this FREE event!
Currently, remnants from Tropical Cyclone Debby appear to be headed for our area just in time for the weekend. Any updates about postponing Dreamgirls will be posted to our main page as well as the event page once we see how the area is affected. Everyone stay safe!
Farmville weather was wild earlier this evening. A bit like we were in the movie TWISTER as shown Under the Stars Saturday evening at the Historic Crute Stage.

"Cow."
If we're being honest, we kind of figured back in the spring that choosing an outdoor movie about storms was probably just tempting the fates for a weather-related delay!
Due to the rainy conditions we've had and are expected to have for the rest of the afternoon, our showing of Twister will be moved to tomorrow night, Saturday July 13. Hope you're still able to join us at Crute Stage!
Who's ready for Twister? Come on out to Crute Stage Friday night and see the original, just in time for the sequel to open next week!
Hard to believe a week has passed since Toy Story! Thanks to each of you who came out and spent the evening with us, and to the Heart of Virginia Community Band and Woody for opening the festivities.
