Homeless at 15 and now Gainesville High’s first Hispanic principal, meet Roberto Rivera At just 15 years old, Roberto Rivera was on his own and homeless, crashing with friends and living out of a car he had bought after working all summer at McDonald’s.
Join us tomorrow night, Tuesday March 26th, at 6 pm for our monthly meeting.

This is a great opportunity to interact with your child's teacher, and learn about what they are learning about! If you have more than one child who attends MMAA, you can split your time between the sessions, or bring another family member to join the session.
Also, the book fair will be open from 5:00-5:50.

Did you know that you don't have to be a member of the PTO to come to the meeting?
Join us TONIGHT 1/23 at 6:30PM. We will be discussing plans for our 💓Valentines Dance 💓 and would love to have your input!
Our last mini grant recipient that we were able to get a picture of is Ms. Gerdtz. Ms. Gerdtz is now the STEAM teacher (she taught K last year.) She loves SCIENCE!
Another of our mini grant recipients is Ms. Cruz. Ms. Cruz is a 5th grade teacher. She herself was a ESOL learner growing up. She was so greatly impacted by teachers as an ESOL learner that she grew up and became a teacher herself.
Next up is Ms. Mendoza!!!! She is an ESOL teacher. She has been an ESOL teacher for the last five years and she absolutely LOVES it.
Ms. Rogers is our next mini grant award recipient we're spotlighting. She is a 1st grade teacher. Ms. Rogers enjoys the outdoors. She like to hike and camp.
Ms. Henle is the next teacher featured mini grant recipients! Ms. Henle is a kindergarten teacher and she absolutely loves kids! Which is important when you teach kids. It's a part of why she is such a GREAT teacher!
Up next is Ms. Webb. Ms. Webb is a special education teacher. This is her first year at Mundy Mill.
The next teacher featured for the mini grants is Ms. Lewallen. Ms. Lewallen is a Kindergarten teacher. A fun fact about her is that she LOVES dogs. She is passionate about the group Dirt Road Doggie Rescue. Check them out at
