Update. Grapevine's City Council made a decision to not allow Vacation Rentals under 30 days of stay. In short, we has rented our gems to long term renters. Thanks for all you fine guests that have stayed with us over the years. It was a lot of fun!

THE place to stay in Grapevine. Period.

Attention to detail like I've never seen before--that's a summation of Doc's. So many little things on top of a cute and comfy environment make you feel so welcomed and taken care of, that you definitely want to cancel your other upcoming reservation at the Embassy Suites like we did. The kitchen is awesome and fully stocked. There's even little treats in the fridge and on the counters. Thoughtful extras are all around the house. And it's 1 1/2 blocks to Main Street! You just can't do any better than this place. Kudos to the super friendly Mary Ann, who texts you just enough to make you feel welcome and available, while really feeling like this is your home away from home.

I can't say enough just how much I loved this house... It was perfectly decorated - VERY clean (I'm a neat freak)...and NO attention to detail was missed. The home is a perfect eccletic mix of modern, vintage and rustic chic. A group of three girls planned our yearly weekend here and we couldn't be happier the first home we confirmed cancelled our booking. I have stayed in many, many VRBO's and this is one of my favorites. The owners go above and beyond to ensure your stay is comfortable and well equipped. It is walking distance to Main street and just 2 houses away from many wine tasting places and fabulous restaurants. She takes the guess work out of which restaurants to choose - as they are listed on the chalkboard fridge! The Old Cafe breakfast was to die for - as was Bob's steak and chops. The owner is very responsive by email or text. Book it - you will not be disappointed.

"We rented this house to celebrate my Dad's 82nd birthday. Not only is the house walking distance to Grapevine Main Street but it is SO CUTE and the owners have thought of every little thing to make your stay a unique experience. When we arrived the owners had a bottle of wine and a birthday cake waiting for us which was a very nice surprise. The house is plenty of space for 4 adults. The beds were comfortable, kitchen very well stocked, and the living area very nice for sitting around and visiting with each other.

There is also a porch we used to enjoy the morning coffee provided. We absolutely loved our stay here and plan to come back in a few months!"

I have rented many houses on VRBO and have to say that by far this is one of the best. Mary Ann thought of everything. My wife was very impressed with the furnishings and amenities. We'd recommend Doc's to everyone and will definitely stay her again.

A Place of Perfection

Imagine your every wish for a vacation rental fulfilled and that's Doc Holliday House and Doc Holliday Too in Grapevine. We rented it for a girl's weekend and loved the location. It was just blocks from historic Main St., close to Bass Pro and Grapevine Mills Outlet Mall, and within walking distance of a local popular Mexican restaurant, Esparza's. As soon as we stepped through the door we loved the decor! From the orange sofa in the living room to the shiplap walls in one of the bedrooms to the colorful towels in the bathroom, it was all lovely. The owner had small baskets of snacks set out for our enjoyment as well as bottles of water - no extra charge! We found eggs, granola bars and biscotti in the refrigerator with a note to "Enoy". In addition, there was a bottle of wine waiting on us when we arrived. The kitchen was well-stocked and included a Keurig with a variety of pods for coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Every question we had prior to arriving was answered promptly. Their hospitality was among the best I've experienced! We would definitely recommend the Doc Holliday house for your vacation!

Vineyard House was just the sanctuary we needed to ease into Texas life.

Our family rented the Vineyard House for a month during a relocation process from Tennessee. I have never stayed somewhere with so much hospitable attention to detail. The grounds were regularly groomed. The backyard was gorgeous and had such a quaint and cottage'y' Texas vibe. The owners take superb care of the property and are responsive to every single need such as directions or advice on where to try local cuisine. We recently moved, and I already miss the Vineyard house. I will most certainly be bookmarking it to share with any out-of-town visitors we have. Grapevine is a fantastic town. Perhaps the best kept secret in Texas. And you can walk to some of the best Tex Mex ever known.

Everything I hoped for - and MORE!

I rented the Doc Holliday House while in town for a dance competition for my daughter and her team. We were MORE than thrilled with our stay. I have rented a lot of VRBO's from Florida to Alaska and this one just might have been my favorite of ALL TIME! Mary Ann thought of everything and the home was clean, comfortable and close to everything. Our competition was at the Ga***rd Texan and I could be to the venue within 5 minutes. It was too perfect.

Our first time visiting Grapevine Texas, and choosing the Doc Holiday House was the perfect place to stay.
The house was spacious for 4 adults and a child. Mary Ann Holiday takes great care in providing everything that made our stay even more personal.
When we arrived, there were snacks, a complimentary bottle of wine, music playing... It just gave you the feeling that someone was looking forward to your arrival. I absolutely recommend the Doc House. We are already planning to return. Thank you so much Mary Ann!!!!

My wife and I love to spend time in Historic Grapevine. We enjoy the wine tours and the night life in downtown grapevine. We have stayed in many of the Vacation Rentals in Grapevine to try them out and determine which one is our favorite. The calendar has been booked every time for the Doc Holliday House and an opening finally was available. We immediately booked the house and we are so happy we did. The reviews do not do justice to this house. It is amazing. The other vacation rentals appear to be decorated with old hand me down products such as furniture, mis-matched dining ware, uncomfortable mattresses, pet odors...but the Doc Holliday House was like stepping into a classy well thought out resort room. The furnishings are super comfortable and clean. We prefer leather seating over fabrics as fabrics tend to hold who knows what. The King Bed was like sleeping at our own house. Also, the location was the best. We had a short walk to Main Street. Most of the other properties that advertise close to Main Street are really not, so beware.

The Doc Holliday Too house in Grapevine, Texas is the perfect house to stay in for a fun get-a-way! I have rented several houses through VRBO and this house has to be the best I have ever rented. The pictures do not do the rooms in the house justice. It is a quaint house that is located only a few blocks away from the Historical Grapevine Main Street. It was very clean and even thou it was an older house, it felt very new and well maintained. The décor of the house is so fun and inviting! It has bright, bold colors. The house has a huge bedroom with very high ceilings. The bed is a king size bed and had a lot of pillows and blankets for anyone's comfort temperature. The house had separate air conditioners in various rooms thru out the house. We loved that we could keep just 1 room at the perfect temperature and sleep like babies. The house has a den area with a huge TV, comfortable seating area, and a huge book that the owners have created for your pleasure. The back yard was nice to hang out in after a day of fun. The owners took a lot of time to make sure you would know where the great restaurants are, where churches are, where local attractions, where shopping is, etc. I was very impressed! The owners offer a free bottle of vine and when they found out that my husband and I were celebrating our 21st wedding anniversary, they left an adorable like cake for us as a surprise. The owners are wonderful to work with. I would definitely rent any house that they own again! I highly recommend them!

Oh, and we're proud of our new granite counter tops (And the name...Dallas White). No joke.

Here's a review that just came in for the Doc Holliday House. This family is from Arkansas and visited family in the area. According to the, "Man" of the house, they came to visit the wife's mother. Being a good husband and father, he felt it would be best to not intrude on (his) mother-in-law and stay in downtown Grapevine where he could walk to the local watering hole to relax. I went to Grapevine for a girls trip this weekend with 6 friends. The Doc Holliday house could not have been more perfect!!! We loved it the second we walked in! The decor is beautiful and the house has plenty of room for 6 people. The owner had thought of every detail...snacks and water, kpods for the coffee, light switches labeled so we didn't have to search for the right one, restaurants listed, gorgeous towels and linens, comfy beds. She texted to check and see if we had made it to the house and see if we needed anything. The house was on an adorable, quiet street a block from Main Street where we walked to shop and eat every day. Can't say enough nice things about this place!"

We finished the renovation on the Doc Holliday House. O.K. this isn't a lot of words but rather words with some substance. The following is a response text we received from a new guest last night. We like to make certain everything is o.k.
