The Conant Community sends our deepest condolences to the Yates family and the Fremd Community on the passing of math department chair and girls varsity basketball coach, Dave Yates. To know Dave was to respect and appreciate him. He was truly one of the great ones. Both Dave and his wife Kathy taught at Conant for part of their careers. While Dave and his family are true Vikings, we send our Cougar love.

Conant High School proudly supports UNICEF, an agency of the United Nations responsible for providing humanitarian and developmental aid to children worldwide

In an effort to do that, Conant High School UNICEF Club will be hosting a Conant Community Trunk or Treat Fall Festival fundraiser on Saturday, October 28th from 12-2 P.M!

Everyone is welcome to join us in afternoon full of candy, food trucks, cupcakes, games, prizes, and fun activities! Not only will you and your family have a wonderful time but will also help make an impact in global children's rights advocacy through UNICEF.

Families are encouraged to bring their elementary school students to participate in our Trunk or Treat and explore a Hoffman Estates firetruck, then come inside to enjoy the work of a talented balloon artist, participate in festive activities, and even earn a chance to win our costume contest!

Entry is free, however, we will be collecting non-perishable items to "Box Out Hunger" for our very own Cougars In Need, any contributions will be greatly appreciated! Cash is encouraged for cupcakes, t-shirts, food, and donations towards global UNICEF programs.

After the event, be sure to stay for Conant Theatre's "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown!" at 2:00 pm in the Auditorium! See you there!!!
