➡️Sydney L. Nix graduated *cum laude* from Rollins College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in International Business with a minor in German. She furthered her education at Stetson University College of Law, ranked No. 1 in Trial Advocacy and No. 3 in Legal Writing by US News and World Report.

Personal History

Originally from Texas and raised in Alabama, Sydney relocated to Florida in 2014 to pursue her college education and has since made the state her home with her partner and beloved French Bulldogs. During her time in law school, Sydney broadened her horizons by working as a contract consultant in Lisbon, Portugal. Following her graduation, she embarked on her legal career, specializing in Estate Planning and Probate.

Areas of Practice

Probate, Guardianship, and Trust Administration

Sydney L. Nix focuses her practice on probate administration, guardianships over the person and property, and advising clients on the legal process involved in transferring a decedent’s probate assets to the estate beneficiaries or heirs. She also provides counsel to trustees, guiding them in fulfilling their duties in accordance with the terms of the applicable trust.

Estate Planning

Collaborating closely with her clients, Sydney evaluates their finances and family dynamics to craft tailored estate plans that suit each client’s unique needs. She emphasizes the importance of essential legal documents such as Wills, Health Care Surrogates, Living Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Trusts. Sydney assists clients in planning for the future while employing creative strategies to minimize probate, protect assets, and preserve their legacy.
