We are a busy fee-for-service periodontal practice with two South Tampa locations and a location in Wesley Chapel. We are seeking a dental assistant for a busy and high quality periodontal practice with three doctors, in both our Wesley Chapel and Davis Island location.

This position is for you if you:

* Care about your patients
* Are self-motivated
* You take instruction well
* Are very flexible with a fast-paced day
Ideally, we are searching for someone who:
* Has surgical dental experience, hopefully in periodontal and dental implant surgery
* Has experience with IV sedation, starting IVs and monitoring during sedation
* Is familiar with computers, digital radiography and CBCT scans
Is familiar with digital intraoral photography
* Knows or can learn how to explain treatment to patients in their terms
* Has the ability to work with other top-notch surgical dental assistants
* Is able to work with efficiency and without specific direction
* Presents very professionally

This lovely patient unfortunately had a failing front tooth. Through minimally invasive techniques we were able to remove the tooth, place a dental implant and an immediate temporary tooth all in one appointment.
