Exciting News from the Olcott Schools AGM 2024!

We are thrilled to announce the newly elected Executive Committee of Olcott Schools for 2024. Leading our team, Shirantha Mendis (Dharmarajah) will serve as President, with Mahesh Withana (Dharmapala) stepping in as Vice President. Our dedicated Secretary is Dharshana Dissanayake (Maliyadeva), with Sadun Wijenayake (Nalanda) as Assistant Secretary. Tiraj Lakshan (Dharmashoka) takes on the role of Treasurer.

Ensuring our events are top-notch, Rashan Herath (Dharmapala) and Kasun Sanjaya (Mahinda) will be our Events Coordinator and Assistant Events Coordinator, respectively. Managing our media presence, Janitha Chirath (Mahinda) is our Media Coordinator.

Proud to support the 'Pure Water for All' project with theSharddha Charity Organization and Sri Lankan community groups in the UAE under the guidance of the Consulate General of Sri Lanka - Dubai & Northern Emirates.

This project was initiated to coincide with “Sri Lankan Day” and in conjunction with Sri Lanka's 75th Independence Day celebrations !

Congratulations to the Women's Badminton team from Dharmoshoka College Alumni in UAE for clinching the championship for the fourth consecutive time at the 12th Peterite Sports Carnival.

The dynamic team from Sri Lanka, including Jaliya Kirulu, Jithma Wijethunga, Themiya Rajapaksha, and Nuhansa Kodituwakku, demonstrated their skills on the track, securing a podium finish for Sri Lanka. Jaliya Kirulu and Temiya Rajapaksha are alumni of Olcott Schools, with Jaliya hailing from Mahinda and Temiya from Maliyadeva.

Also Jithma Wijethunga is representing Lyceum IS Wattala, while Nuhansa Kodituwattku is representing Matara CC.

Bandula Warnapura Memorial Challenge Trophy-2024

The Bandula Warnapura Memorial Challenge Trophy 2024 will be held at the Mercantile Cricket Association (MCA) Grounds on Sunday, 7th April 2024 ( Tommorow) .

The match is organized by the Colonel Henry Steele Olcott Memorial Sports Foundation (CHSOMSF) and the Mercantile Cricket Association (MCA).

Old Anandians and Old Mahindians emerged joint champions of the 22nd Col. Henry Steel Olcott School Boys Cricket tournament held today (09th December) at Asgiriya Cricket Stadium in Kandy.

We are thrilled to witness the participation of our very own Ravi Gunarathna in the 22nd annual Henry Steel Olcott Memorial Cricket tournament, where he proudly represents the Old Dharmapala Cricket team.
