Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing: Generate and distribute invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner.
Payment Processing: Receive and record incoming payments through various channels, including checks, credit cards, and electronic transfers.
Account Reconciliation: Reconcile customer accounts, ensuring that payments and credits are accurately applied to outstanding invoices.
Collections: Contact customers with overdue balances and work with them to secure payment arrangements. Maintain records of collection efforts.
Customer Communication: Respond to customer inquiries and provide account statements as needed.
Credit Analysis: Evaluate customer credit applications and make recommendations regarding credit limits.
Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports and cash flow projections.
Credit Memos: Process credit memos for approved refunds or adjustments.
Month-end Closing: Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing reconciliations and reports.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations in all accounts receivable activities.
