Thank you, Shamita Shetty, for shedding light on endometriosis, a condition that causes immense suffering to millions of women. Many are unaware of it and mistakenly attribute their pain to normal menstrual cramps. Your efforts help raise awareness, ensuring more women recognize the symptoms and seek the treatment they deserve for this delibitating disease.

Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining inside the uterus grows outside of it, causing pain and potentially impacting fertility. It affects milllions of women worldwide, often leading to severe menstrual cramps, chronic pain, and fatigue. Early diagnosis and treatment are crucial for managing symptoms and improving quality of life.

If you experience persistent pelvic pain, consult your healthcare provider for an evaluation and appropriate care. Let's raise awareness and support those affected by endometriosis.

Does Endometrial Scratching during Hysteroscopy before IVF improve pregnancy rate?

Endometrial scratching before embryo transfer resulted in significant improvement in clinical pregnancy rate and live birth rate but no difference in miscarriage rate.

Endometrial scratching during hysteroscopy helps to improve embryo implantation through improvement of endometrial receptivity.

It can be done in different ways, today in this video we demonstrate it with biopsy forceps.

An intrauterine device (IUD) is a long-acting, reversible form of birth control placed in the uterus. In some cases, the IUD can become dislodged or malpositioned, requiring removal by a gynecologist. This outpatient procedure is typically quick and involves carefully retrieving the IUD using thin instruments like a hysteroscope.

Embracing the beauty of pregnancy comes with a few surprises! 🌈 Did you know that hormonal changes can lead to unexpected hair growth in new places during the third trimester? 🤷‍♀️✨
While it's common and usually fades after baby arrives, the safety of laser hair removal during pregnancy is uncertain. 🚫

Opt for temporary methods like shaving, waxing, threading, or tweezing – considered safe during this special time. Many health care providers advise avoiding LASER HAIR REMOVAL due to a lack of studies evaluating its safety on the fetus. 🤰

As your body transforms, reaching certain areas may need a helping hand. If seeking professional assistance, ensure the facility is clean, and the technician is licensed.

Navigating pregnancy is a journey, and embracing changes with self-love is the key! 🤰

Reproductive health is a crucial aspect of overall well-being for individuals around the world. Unfortunately, various reproductive health issues can significantly impact one's quality of life and family planning aspirations. Among these concerns, endometrial polyps stand out as a common yet often overlooked condition that can have a profound effect on reproductive health. Endometrial polyps can be asymptomatic but can affect fertility. They can interfere with the implantation of an embryo, increase the risk of miscarriage, and lead to preterm birth.

Dr. Neha Lalla, a leading lady gynaecologist in Dubai, performed a hysteroscopic polypectomy on a patient who had an accidentally diagnosed uterine polyp on sonography. The patient conceived naturally in the next cycle.

Many people mistakenly believe that babies only exhibit movement in the womb during the nighttime hours. This perception often arises because pregnant women are more likely to detect these movements when they're at rest in bed. However, babies are active both day and night. This phenomenon can be attributed to the heightened movement and busyness of the mother during the day, which can lull the baby to sleep. Consequently, the baby may become more energetic and begin moving when the mother is at rest during the night. Furthermore, you're more likely to perceive the baby's movements when you're still rather than when you're engaged in daily activities.

Furthermore, a baby's movements are intricately connected to the mother's blood sugar levels. For instance, a baby might become more animated following the mother's meal, particularly if the meal is rich in carbohydrates.

In essence, frequent fetal movements in the womb are completely normal and signify the baby's robust health and proper development. However, if a pregnant woman notices a substantial reduction in fetal movement or holds concerns about her baby's activity levels, it's advisable to reach out to her healthcare provider for an assessment.

Share your pregnancy journey! At which month did you first become aware of your baby's movements?

Most women aren't aware that they have adenomyosis because the condition doesn't always cause symptoms. However, in many women, it may give rise to severe symptoms such as:
◼️Long-term or heavy menstrual bleeding
◼️Painful menstrual periods
◼️Pelvic pain during in*******se
Most women experience some degree of adenomyosis as they approach menopause.

Birth control pills and an IUD that contains progesterone can help decrease heavy bleeding. NSAIDs can also help manage pain.

Surgery to remove the uterus (hysterectomy) is the definitive treatment performed in women with severe symptoms.

Please share this post to spread the word and support one another on this journey!
