In this class you will experience working with the Traditional Chinese Medicine meridian system through the Yin practice and how it can work with our deeper emotions that correlate with those meridians. In the beginning, we amplify our Qi (aka Prana) through some Qigong movements, then move our way into the yin practice staying low to our mat and holding our poses for a sustained period of time. This works the deeper tissues of the body and allows us to develope finer interoception and stillness. The evening will be completed with aย Yoga Nidra practice, the yoga of sleep is a powerful meditative practice that allows us to work on our nervous system in a completely restful state and will leave you feeling deeply relaxed and restored.ย

Combining acrobatics, yoga, and therapeutics, Acro Yoga brings something a little extra to the studio space. In this beginner workshop Laylee and Larissa will bring you through the fundamentals and foundations of the Acro Yoga practice. During the 2-hour workshop, they will introduce basic poses and flows in a fun and safe environment; all weaved together with partner drills, games, smart and accessible progression, and lots of good energy!
This workshop is made for those who have little to no experience with Acro Yoga or would like to fine-tune their skills.
Important to Know:
- WORKSHOP IS SUITABLE TO ALL LEVELS (no previous experience necessary)
- YOU DO NOT NEED A PARTNER TO JOIN THE WORKSHOP
- AcroYoga is a very hands-on (lots of touching and working with other people) practice if you feel uncomfortable being close and working with other people. This workshop might not be for you.

A Little About Me
Greetings lovelies! My name is Larissa Shanti, hence the title of my page ;). Yoga has been in my life on and off since I can remember, but in the beginning of 2017, I dove in head first, soaking up as much knowledge as I could.
Initially, I started because of my love for physical fitness. I wanted to improve my flexibility, calisthenics training, acro yoga, and climbing skills; however, the deeper down the rabbit hole I got, the more and more I realized that yoga was so much more. Yoga is a way of being in the world, a philosophy, a practice. The physical asanas are just one amazing part and benefit you receive. All this came to me at a time in my life that I really needed it. It helped me move forward, make huge life-changing decisions, and deal with past traumas.
After gaining these insights I knew I wanted to help share the knowledge and spread yoga awarness. So, I decided to hop on a plane to Thailand, get my 200hr YTT, to become Yoga Alliance certified. The course I took with One Yoga Thailand, was more than I ever could have hoped for. The extent and depth of knowledge the teachers had there was incredible.
My goal now, is to be able to travel the world sharing my passions and learning from others. Hoping to share, what I have gained from bringing yoga into my life and to further my practice allowing me to serve the best I can.
