On October 7th, 2023, the Herat province in Afghanistan was shaken to its core by a series of devastating earthquakes. The survivors have nothing in the area. They need food, clothes, tents and medicine. The earthquake hit very remote and poor areas.

As of today, the 8th of October 2023, the toll has been catastrophic, with over 2,000 lives tragically lost, thousands left injured, more than 1300 houses destroyed, and more than ten entire villages vanished from the face of the earth.
