Gyumri “ Rock school ” is presented a new project: " Eco green". In the framework of the project it is planned to give a new life to 10 artificial and natural abandoned monuments which can be found in 10 regions of Armenia, and also we are going to organize tree planting which will have continuous activities. In social media with the help of video challenges we should involve 3-5 artists , culture representatives, politicians who will also join to the tree planting enlarging the volumes and etc. After 3 hours of video challenges in the space of the following monument will be held the concert of Rock School Gyumri . At this concert 8 new songs will be presented which is devoted to the nature.
2. The importance of the project- 1 mature tree produces 118kg oxygen during the year( it is already minuses the amount of oxygen that tree uses for itself). During a year people need 150-170kg oxygen , so one tree provides the whole amount of oxygen for a person during 8-10 months.400-500 trees absorb 280kg carbon dioxide gas and keep 100kg dust. Trees produce water, which freezes the air and the asphalt which is under the shadows of trees will be saved longer. Since its creation men destroy 50% of the world’s forests, but restore only 7%.
3. The goal of the project - To held large-scales tree planting in Armenia , to support the tree planting via culture , to integrate many influential people of different spheres and organizations, to cooperate with environmentalists to make the eco - project widespread , to formulate the fund during the concerts for the restoring of the monument , in that location the concert will be held.
