The representatives of Armpower CJSC had regular visits to Shengavit and Erebuni administrative districts, as well as Ayntap and Nor Kharberd communities, which are considered to be affected communities within the social component of the Project. The purpose of the meeting was to present the community representatives with information on the operation and maintenance of Armpower CJSC’s 254MW Combined Cycle Power Plant, the Emergency Response Plan and the Company’s Grievance Mechanism.

RENCO CRESCE DEL 32,8% - INVESTIMENTI DA CENTO MILIONI IN ITALIA
“Renco è un’azienda italiana. Dopo lustri passati a lavorare in tutto il mondo da qualche anno abbiamo deciso di tornare con forza nel nostro paese. Nel biennio 23-24 investiremo in Italia oltre 100 milioni di euro. Nello stesso periodo il valore di produzione supererà i 450 mln di euro”. Lo ha annunciato Giovanni Gasparini Presidente di Renco spa nel corso dell'approvazione del bilancio d'esercizio 2022 e delle previsioni per il 2023.
Il valore di produzione cresce di 109,7 milioni di euro pari al 32,8%, passando da 334.318 milioni di euro a 444.013 milioni di euro. Rispetto al 2021 cresce in valore assoluto di 13,8 milioni di euro l’Ebitda, aumenta l’utile a 9,2 milioni, e le disponibilità liquide di 30 milioni. "Il nostro impegno in Italia – ha proseguito Gasparini – è confermato da una serie di progetti operativi o in via di realizzazione: come l’impianto per il trattamento dei fanghi per l’autorità portuale di Ravenna; l’installazione degli elettrocompressori a Messina, Malborghetto e Poggio Renatico per Snam Rete; un impianto per la produzione di idrogeno a Paese in Veneto; un parco eolico a Salinella in Calabria; l’avvio dell’iniziativa immobiliare della Corderia di Viserba di Rimini".
“Anche sul piano internazionale l’impegno di Renco produce risultati importanti – ha sottolineato l’Ad di Renco Giovanni Rubini -. La divisione energia ha ottenuto la commessa per servizi di ingegneria, approvvigionamento dei materiali e realizzazione dell'opera di due power station per complessivi 100 MW in Albania, un Parco fotovoltaico in Mozambico da 20 MW e la realizzazione di un acquedotto da 175 km in Kazakhstan. Inoltre – aggiunge Rubini - i grandi progetti di investimento come la centrale di Yerevan in Armenia ed il porto di Pemba in Mozambico da quest’anno entreranno in funzione. Le commesse in portafoglio hanno marginalità soddisfacente. Senza dubbio – ha concluso l'Ad – sotto il profilo economico e finanziario l’anno in corso si attesta ad essere in continuità positiva con le scorse annualità”.

Every year, exposure to air pollution is estimated to cause 7 million premature deaths and result in the loss of millions more healthy years of life. In children, this could include reduced lung growth and function, respiratory infections and aggravated asthma. In adults, ischaemic heart disease and stroke are the most common causes of premature death attributable to outdoor air pollution, and evidence is also emerging of other effects such as diabetes and neurodegenerative conditions. This puts the burden of disease attributable to air pollution on a par with other major global health risks such as unhealthy diet and to***co smoking.
