The Soualiwomen Kultural Association had reached out to me to help them create a concept for their cultural costume based off of the Yaya Frock.

This was the concept I created and together with their additions they made these costumes.

I was so happy to see how great the end result came out. As busy as I was , I am happy to have been apart of this creative process.

Some connections are just God sent. My morning was well spent with this powerful woman Aya Milagros. Thanks so much for pouring into me and sharing your wisdom and knowledge. I’m truly inspired by your drive to be all that God has called you to be. ❤️

This year for SXM DOET 2024 , I was asked to also do a mural at the Mental Health Foundation Sint Maarten. The staff needed a space where they could catch a breath and relax as their job is very taxing mentally and physically. As I’m only one person , I started my since Thursday. I drew out the concept, mapped the colors out with paint and the wonderful staff of MHF along with the sxmdoet volunteers filled in the painting just like a coloring book. They did an excellent job and I’m happy to have assisted them in this way.

This is phase 1, I still have to put in the details but it already looks amazing.

And it’s a wrap, just completed phase 1 of the mural I did for the Sister Regina Primary School project for SXM DOET 2024. Thanks to Veronika Peterson and her son, my hubby Chris Hazel and my son Melchiah Hazel for helping me to complete this today. Thanks to the staff if Sister Regina for trusting me to do a mural for them once again 🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️
