Orte der Begegnungen Es gibt manchmal Plätze oder Straßen, in die es einem ganz intuitiv hineinzieht. So etwas wie deine Innere Stimme, die dir leise und liebevoll zuflüstert 'geh einmal dorthin' oder 'schau da einmal hinein'. Und wenn man das dann auch spontan macht wird man oft mit sehr schönen Begegnungen mit Men...

Calm day by the port of Kato Alepochori

Since I long time I have a passion for boats. If I see them early in the morning coming back from fishing or even in the harbour. With all their colourful details, hills of ropes and I imagine their different adventures on sea. Some of them also got a name on the site. Written mostly in greek letters. 🛥️ 🇬🇷

In the morning before the rain was coming it was time to start a new black and white drawing from this beautiful view with today's calm sea.

The place which inspired me was the backyard from Venice's House in Kato Alepochori. If you explore this area make a stop there and enjoy a cup of good coffee and a poli nostimo milopita with this view.

🌲🌲🌲 "Walking & Drawing" in the Βοτανικός Κήπος Διομήδους - Εισιτήριο/ Κράτηση in Haidari on 28 December at 12 o'clock.🌲🌲🌲

Quality time for a couple of hours by Walking and drawing and having interesting conversations with each other. 💞

This December we will experience Haidari from it's one of the most beautiful nature sides. Together we will meet by the entrance of the botanical garden and have a personal tour of 1hour through this beautiful and silent place.

Where we can inhale fresh air, see and listen to the beauty of the garden even in winter time and let us getting inspired by this walk. We can also grab a cup of coffee before in Κήπος: The Garden Cafe there where we will also meet afterwards to let our impressions of the walk flowing into our sketchbooks.

The Idea is to make a get-together of different kind of people who are interested in nature and art.

You can work with different art material like oil pastels, watercolour pens, or inkliner. It's up to you what you prefer more. The only thing I would like to ask you for is to bring your own sketchbook or paper with you and good shoes for walking and joy for being creative. ✨🌺🌱

We will charge € 8.- for each person (includes the Tour of 1 hour and the art material that you can use)

Life is beautiful ❤️

Do you remember one of your most beautiful moments in life?
A moment that made your eyes sparkle and where you were very happy - and everything just felt light and wonderful.

These are exactly the moments I want to reflect in my second abstract series of paintings called "Pure Joy". Through specially composed color combinations and shapes.

I took a few of them as inspiration for my new abstract series PURE JOY and reproduce these moments of happiness on canvas.

This series will be a combination of moments of pure joy and happiness that various people have written to me via Instagram and Facebook in response to my question.

I was touched by the many beautiful moments of happiness that you have shared with me and want to thank you from the bottom of my heart! ❤️

This time the paintings series consists of small and larger formats again like my last abstract series.

Erinnerst du dich an einen deiner schönsten Momente im Leben?
Ein Moment, der deine Augen zum Funkeln gebracht hat, und wo du sehr glücklich warst - und alles hat sich einfach nur leicht und wundervoll angefühlt.

Unexpected beautiful paths took me some months ago close to Nafplio. I was lucky to find a beautiful little home between orange and lemon trees where I have spent some months.

Nafplio is a beautiful town. Also known as the old capital of Greece. It has romantic small lanes with charming houses, shops, coffee bars and restaurants.

One of this I have discovered with a friend on my first days in this lovely old town. It called 'ROSSO CAFE'.

It was in the end of January and we could sit outside with a cup of coffee and it has such a blooming colourful interior that I got inspired to draw it with ink-liner on paper. 🌺

Drawing lines out of my mind and memories. ✨

A deep love for Greece has moved me to create this drawing in black and white.

At the end of May I discovered the wonderful restaurant in the small town of Tolo near the port. The young owners have created with great attention to detail a special ambience of new and old furniture there.

The day I decided to let go of my dream to live and work in Greece, I spontaneously went in the evening with my dog to the restaurant called 'Carnayio' at the harbor. As I was looking out to the sea and listening to a pleasant background music I was overcome by a great melancholy and deep love for this beautiful and multifaceted country with all its pro's & con's.

But this palpable deep love for Greece changed my decision to leave the country and I felt that something wants to be lived here. I feel much more at home in Greece than in my home country. Why this is so, I can not say because I can't really describe it. But this feeling of home feels very coherent and beautiful to me here.

Here on Zakynthos my adventure began a year ago. I had a room in a shared apartment with a great view of the Ionian Sea.

Last summer I started to get up early in the morning and watch the sunrise from the balcony. It was so wonderful. Each sunrise had its own mood.

There was a beautiful beach for swimming in the village and the way there took me to olive groves, charming houses and taverns.

Probably the best thing about those months on the island was that I made a wonderful and inspiring friendship there that felt like family and she is also an artist.

Cheers to special encounters in our lives. 🧡
