As a wedding photographer I always ask my couples to have the room as tidy as possible for the Getting Ready. I know it’s not always easy but it’s worth it! I try to frame my shots so shoe boxes or plastic bags are not in the photo. I also hide or move things myself but the less time I need to spend doing that the more time I have to take photos 📷. My tipp: give your Trauzeuge or one of your friends the task to keep things tidy.

Yes, it was a styled shoot. But these two cuties are a real couple planning to get married. They are naturals but many couples feel a bit nervous about the photo shoot on their wedding day. I totally understand because I feel like a deer in the headlights when I‘m in front of a camera myself :) With some people we do a couple shoot before the wedding so they can see that it‘s actually fun and nothing to be worried about. When you book two slots for your wedding at the Marmorsaal in .salzburg there is usually time for a few quick photos with the two of you alone in this special room.

Have you ever thought of doing a romantic ride with a Salzburger Fiaker (horse carriage) on your wedding day? It’s a really nice idea especially when you are not from Salzburg. Your guests can ride in a separate carriage and have a few Schnaps before arriving at the party location.

Another sunny day. Life is good. Different but good.

When we ask couples if they want the getting ready of the groom photographed the bride is mostly all up for it while her husband usually has to be convinced by her. But in the end they are always happy we did it. Many fun moments to document, especially when their best man or groomsmen are with him.

Today was one of the most relaxing days in a while. I don’t even know why...there was just so much time. Time to sleep long without regrets. Time to cook without any time pressure. Time to read in the hammock and go for a long walk in the sun. Time for a sundowner on our terrace, watch the sunset and play a game of backgammon. I often feel like I should be productive all the time. I should use every minute of free time. But today I just felt like it’s ok to chill and to not check something off my list ☀️ Today was a great day 🥰

I love the idea of one of last years newlyweds to name the tables for their party after mountains that have a special meaning for them.
