Pizza night tonight was a hit!

What’s that peeping thru my varoma you ask?
That’s pizza dough proving quickly on this very cold Victorian winter day ! Doubled in size in 20mins

Boiling water in thermoserver, dough wrapped in thermomat and placed in varoma.

These cold mornings call for a nice cooked breakfast.
I’m not a morning person so breakfast has to be quick and easy
This ticked all the boxes and was delicious.

A clean bench just before dinners ready and time to spare. NOTE: this is not how my bench usually looks, any free time while the thermy cooks is spent tending to the kids.
The second bowl is keeping rice hot while our butter chicken finishes. Mean while I sit back and watch the kids play ❤️

Dinner cooked by 4pm now keeping hot in the thermoserver till we’re ready to eat.
That dinner, bath and bed time can be very chaotic in many households. Being able to break it up and have dinner cooked early and ready to serve as the kids are hungry makes a huge difference.

The thermomat helped prove the dough, then I rolled out 16 pockets containing my mess on one mat until lorelei come along and we some how made a mess of the whole kitchen 😂🤪
