Stock), 8010 Graz. Keine Voranmeldung notwendig, bitte alle Dokumente und FFP2-Maske mitbringen.

Warum Betrifft:Asyl uns alle betrifft:
Das Asyl- und Fremdenrecht ist in den letzten Jahren zu einer der kompliziertesten Rechtsmaterien der österreichischen Rechtsordnung geworden. Von dieser komplexen Rechtsmaterie sind jene Menschen persönlich betroffen, die erst seit kurzem in Österreich sind und oft aus Konfliktregionen hier her fliehen. Die Entscheidung der österreichischen Asylbehörde bestimmt über ihre Zukunft, bleibt für sie aber oft zunächst unverständlich.
Wenn Asylsuchende die behördliche Entscheidung von unabhängigen Richtern auf ihre Rechtmäßigkeit überprüfen lassen wollen, sind sie regelmäßig auf juristische Unterstützung angewiesen. Der Zugang zum Recht darf dabei aber nicht davon abhängen wie viel Geld man hat oder woher man kommt. Als gemeinnütziger Verein setzt sich ZEBRA (https://www.zebra.or.at) bereits seit über 30 Jahren für die Durchsetzung der Menschenrechte ein. Die ehrenamtliche Initiative Betrifft:Asyl ergänzt das vielfältige Angebot des Interkulturellen Beratungs- und Therapiezentrums - und macht das Recht zugänglich. In unser offenen Sprechstunde erklären wir behördliche Entscheidungen und beantworten Fragen zum Asylverfahren. Wir beraten kostenlos und unabhängig. Durch juristische Recherchen und das Verfassen von Stellungnahmen unterstützen wir Asylsuchende bei der effektiven Geltendmachung ihrer Rechte im Beschwerdeverfahren.
Wir glauben, dass Betrifft:Asyl uns alle betrifft, da ein gleichberechtigter Zugang zum Recht Fundament unseres Rechtsstaat ist. Durch unser Beratungsangebot wollen wir dazu beitragen, dass vor dem Gesetz jeder und jede gleich ist. Wenn Menschenrechte nur theoretisch gewährleistet sind, aber praktisch nicht durchgesetzt werden können, sind sie schließlich nichts wert. Unbezahlbar ist deswegen das ehrenamtlich Engagement unseres Teams, das aus erfahrenen Jurist*innen besteht, die von engagierten Jus Studierenden unterstützt werden. Damit wir auch weiterhin kostenlose und unabhängige Rechtsberatung anbieten können, sind wir auf freiwillige Spenden angewiesen. Jeder Euro wird das Recht einfach machen:
