I have a mini tour upcoming in France this week. I am very happy to return and being part of three wonderfull events full of vibrant analog music.

I am also looking forward to a 150 km hike through the foothills of the Pyrenees between the first and second gig, as I have decided to walk by foot, sleeping under the stars... ✨🌙

This DJ trio, was forged and reinforced during the good old days of Vienna's legendary Ost Klub. They complement each other perfectly in sound and style. That night they play from 9 p.m. a bunch of eclectic and crisp back 2 back sets, swapping every 30 minutes, everything stays in flux, everything grooves, the dice are in the air, what's next on the turntable? Oven-fresh beats from the Dunkelbunt studio and the sound kitchens of the wide world, but also the good old classics should not be missing. Guest of honor of the evening is Haider Khan from Jaipur, actually known for his tabla skills, but this evening he finds his place as master of celebration at the microphone. -They are on fire, from sunset to sunrise.

Mein Baby ist schon lange kein Baby mehr. 24 Jahre ist es mittlerweile her, dass ich mein Herzensprojekt in die Welt gebracht habe und als Dankeschön hat es mir die Welt gezeigt und ernährt mich und meine Familie bis heute.

Mit zarten 18 Jahren ging es damals los. Zuerst war es der Name einer Veranstaltungsreihe, dann eines Musikernetzwerkes und Plattenlabels, nach meinem Umzug von Hamburg nach Wien, wurde es mein Künstlername, aber auch meiner Radioshow, meines Gewürzlabels, meines Bandprojektes und inzwischen auch meines Plattenladens (in meinem Wiener Studio). Ich durfte mit Musiktrends setten - etwa Balkan Beats oder Electro Swing - die Welt bereisen, Musik(t)räume erschaffen und meine Träume ausleben...

Dieses Jahr habe ich mich auf die Anfänge (Veranstaltungsreihe) besonnen und den Dunkelbunt Social Club gegründet, aus dem - hast du nicht gesehen - ein Album wurde. Und heute morgen fiel mir bei meiner täglichen Laufrunde durch den Augarten etwas wunderbar schönes auf: Dunkelbunt ist 24 und ich bin 42. Mich durchfuhr es wie ein Blitz. Na wenn das mal kein Zufall und Grund genug ist, den runden Geburtstag um ein Jahr vorzuziehen. Die Sterne haben es so gewollt!

Natürlich feiere ich diesen Geburtstag ganz unkompliziert bei mir ums Eck. Nämlich im . Klein und fein, und bescheiden mit einem umso unbescheideneren DJ Set, für das man normalerweise mindestens einmal um die Welt reisen müsste, vom Einsatz einer Zeitmaschiene ganz zu schweigen! Also, Weihnachtsfeiern spritzen, vorbeikommen Ohren...?😂
