Random breaks in reality. Andreas Niederwieser is a self-taught photographer based in Vienna, Austria. For the artist, each work reflects a part of one's self.
He is working on the verge of portrait and art photography and deeply interested in exploring and understanding the world within and around him. Drawn to geometry, minimalism and a certain calmness, his images tell stories about hope and melancholy in a dystopian world. Photography is not only an outlet, but also a journey of discovery into your own psyche:

The Art of MAKAvA
21 local artists from different backgrounds are effortlessly, colorfully, in abundance, with humor, in contrast, straightforward, in convolution, in snippets, in essence, in landscape and portrait format expressing their point of view on 'The Art of MAKAvA'.
There will be 10 limited prints from each art piece, which can be purchased at the event. The proceeds will be donated to 'Mirno More Peace Fleet', an organization that works for tolerance, integration and a peaceful coexistence. It's the biggest sailing project for socially disadvantaged children and teens.
