The next lecturer we would like to present is: Mag. Dr.iur. Lioba Kasper who teaches "Human Rights in Europe" and "Migration: Boundaries, Borders, Barriers" in the master program. With the new curriculum, several new courses have been introduced into the syllabus of our master program "European Studies". One of them centers around the simulation of the EU legislative process. International law expert and long-time university lecturer Dr. Ralph Janik - Recht politisch will be taking on this redesigned course on "EU Legislation", in addition to his already existing course "Legal Aspects of Globalisation of World Trade." The new course will not only focus on imparting legal fundamentals but also feature a simulation of the EU legislative process, to provide a practical insight into this complex subject matter. Welcome to the page of the European Studies postgraduate program offered at the University of Vienna! The curriculum of the master program "European Studies" is currently being amended to meet the new legal requirements specified by the amendment to the Universities Act. The next start is planned to be in October 2023: the new master program will be offered in English, will have a scope of 120 ECTS and a duration of 4 semesters.
