#ceasefirenow #bringthemhomenow #peacenow #stopkillingcivilians
Rehearsing Adrienne Cooper’s “Sholem Lid” on the balcony of the Willy Brandt Center Jerusalem with a stunning view of the city (I swear this is not staged!). Despite me not being a Zionist, this city is so close to me heart. I love it for its archaic atmosphere, it’s vibrant multiculturalism, its mystical charm and its ubiquitous insanity. Performing this song in this city and especially right on the green line felt incredibly powerful. May sholem be upon this beautiful city and all of its inhabitants. #endtheoccupation
