So many of us have special memories of visiting the Adelaide Central Markets. This earthy, heady fragrance evokes memories of walking through the this bustling haven, spices enveloping the senses. Last week I had the absolute pleasure of teaching a candle making class for SA and NT leaders at their SA head office. I was lucky enough to have .casey.374 teaching with me.

We had the best time choosing fragrance blends (no sausage sizzle fragrance unfortunately), learning candle making techniques and working as a team. Favourite fragrances were snowflakes & cashmere, guava & lime, and blackcurrant & plum.

The focus of this class was mindfulness; to have an hour of creativity and relaxation after a busy year. A candle-making class is such a great way to build relationships within the team, and to relax and reflect on the past year together.

Each guest created a beautiful glowing amber candle and a travel tin candle. They selected gorgeous Christmas labels for their candles, from a selection of pre-made labels from . Using such high quality labels meant each guest went home with really professional looking candles. It’s all in the details!
