Join us for a day of celebration and breathtaking views as we officially cut the ribbon on these stunning additions to our beautiful coastline. ๐
The details:
The Premier of South Australia, Hon Peter Malinauskas MP and Mayor Kris Hanna will be cutting the ribbon alongside at the Grey Gully Bridge from 9:30 am.
The community event along the Coastal Walkway begins at 10 am from Grey Road to The Esplanade.
Bring your family and friends for a stroll along the walkway. Enjoy free coffee from local coffee vans, a free barbecue, and fun activities for all ages!
Rain or shine, this is an event not to be missed - we genuinely can't wait to see you there!

Last night on Anzac Day eve it was an honour to attend the City of Marion Youth Vigil where young people from City of Marion stand guard in shifts as a sign of respect to those who have fought for our country.
Followed by a very moving dawn service held by The Lions Club of Hallett Cove and Districts at Hallett Cove Beach.
Thankyou to all the people who have served, are serving and will serve the country, and to the sacrifices made by previous generations.

The missing junior netball ring at Hugh Johnson Reserve has been replaced and is back for everyone to enjoy over the school holidays! ๐ I know there were some very disappointed 10-year-olds, but rest assured, it has been replaced and ready for action! Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Unfortunately due to the weather The Marion City Band and Warriparinga Brass are now unable to join us.
The buy, swap and sell markets, along with the childrenโs activities will be moved inside so come and enjoy the free face painting and bubble show. There will be a free sausage sizzle, a coffee van, and a plant sale by the Trott Park Community Garden inc.
Bubble show starts at 11 am and Santa will be arriving at 12 pm. ๐

The City of Marion wants your feedback on a trail plan, aiming to boost local charm, support walking and cycling, and connect Tyson Avenue, Reserve Street, Scarvell Avenue, and Klippel Avenue Reserves.
The proposed trail enhances and utilises existing infrastructure such as drink fountains, public toilet, current pathways and seating.
