Megan's Kitchen
Cooking lessons teaching basic cooking skills. Focus on healthy cooking demonstrations for adults and children. Fun cooking classes for kids.
It has been a challenging term/ semester navigating these sessions for both the Department of Child Protection and Adult Education. It is so heart-warming to get feedback especially when running a small business. I'm so grateful to have been given the opportunities especially to facilitate an Accredited course. It was my goal for many years.
Last week of Semester 1 complete. It was wonderful to finish off with Barista training and cake.
Friday's in the Commercial Kitchen Practices kitchen. We did mystery basket session, I loved what the participants created.
Some photos from the Commercial Kitchen Practices session.
Bite and Banter has lived up to its name. Lots of banter and cooking done. This last session we used the Easy Kit meals from Healthy Food Co. Italian chicken, Apricot chicken, Beef curry, Mexican beef, Pumpkin Cous cous.
Thank you Mark, my other half, for sharpening my knives. The students will be grateful. Tip: Do not put through the dishwasher, which happens to my knives and their sharpness does not last long. I recommend this Aldi knife sharpening with 3 year warranty. These knives cut through the tomato with absolute ease.
Look what we made, Basil Pesto chicken bake, a vegetarian bake and Eton mess. Yes, we made our own Basil Pesto too.
Friday's in the Commercial Kitchen Practices session.
