Creating Netty

Tonight was a night of art journalling. After a weekend of amazing workshops at Paper Flourish I wanted to keep the creative juices flowing and use the journal we spent hours decorating. I love that art journalling is a way of playing with techniques and not worrying too much about the outcome.

Playing with some different techniques and mediums tonight. Alcohol Inks on canvas, transparent crackle paste and cream paste.

Tonight was a night I needed to unwind. I love the juxtaposition of pretty and nasty in this 😝

This was a dry run for my August class at Paper Flourish Pooraka

Tonight these two pieces will be part of the silent auction and the quiz night at Broadview Football Club ( ). I am really pleased with how they turned out and the contrast of club colours look fantastic. @ Broadview Football Club

Some new colour combinations. Really loving the olive greens and deep red purples.

Playing with some different techniques and different types of flowers.

Tonight I decided to play with a bigger piece of art (A3) using some different techniques. Lots of fun and I love these colours.

More experimenting tonight. Loving playing and creating and these bright colours are a lot of fun.

Playing outside my comfort colours. Loving the end result, however my hands are looking like I committed a crime.

A new piece for the new house. It has been nice to get back into some of my art, and look forward to getting even more done shortly.

Going for some Hampton style colours. Trial of colour combination for a commissioned piece.
