Look who we ran into bugging Sophie’s open garden today!

Bugging Costa
Look who we ran into while we were bugging Sophie Thomson’s open garden today. He’s got an important message about bugs too.

More little tiny taxidermy…

We are really excited to be asked back again to bug Sophie Thomson’s very last open garden at Mt Barker Springs. I think we’ve been at most of them and we’ll be sad to say goodbye to this awesome and inspiring garden. If you haven’t been yet (or even if you just want to see it one last time) we’ll be there on Sunday with lots of bugs and hand crafted bugnalia and I’ll be doing a talk on why we should all love insects. If you can’t make it Sunday - don’t dispair - there’s 3 days of open garden goodness to choose from.

Snail puppet Mk 2. I couldn’t remember how I made the first lot of snails so I had to make up a new pattern. I like these better. With finger in the neck it’s more puppet like. This one doesn’t have its eyes or mouth yet but you get the drift?

I don’t wish to alarm anyone but arachnophobes - strap yourselves in - it’s going to be a great year for spiders!

Big day at the Gawler Show!!
