HELPFUL HINT - the other day I cut my wick too short in one of my candles. If your wick is too short, you run the risk of it being unable to handle the amount of wax in the jar and eventually drowning. EASY FIX - when the wax is melted simply pour some out into an old candle jar or tin. Just make sure the melted wax has reached the edge of the jar. If you prefer to do this when the wax is hard, using an old spoon, dig out some of the wax. Don't stress if it's uneven, it'll fix itself during the next burn. 😊

HOW DO I GET THE OLD WAX OUT OF MY BURNER? The easiest way is to put the burner in the freezer for about 10 minutes. Wax shrinks as it cools.
PIC 1 - TAYA Fragrances melt has lost its fragrance after about 8 hours. Put the burner in the freezer as is.
PIC 2 - 10 minutes later the wax has shrunk, and you can see it pull away from the burner.
PIC 3 - Simply slide out.

Cute and versatile, these dot melts give you the option to control the strength of the fragrance by adding as many or as little of the fragranced melts as you like. Small packets are 30g and large packets are a whopping 100g of melts. Launching Tuesday.

"I've got too many candles" - said no one ever. 😁

Hello All!
I got asked the other day "why isn't my melt pool centered?” I hear this often and get asked how to fix this. Most of the time it's due to the wick bending over to one side making the flame off-center. Simply cut your wick before every burn, and if it’s still bending over to one side, light it, and using the match, straighten the wick. Lighting it first softens the wick so when you move the tip up it won’t break off. Hope this helps those who are having the same issue.
It's Sunday afternoon, and Ambered Sandalwood melts are my pick. It's relaxing, not too overpowering, and earthy.

Welcome to Friday...launch of website day!!! TAYA Fragrances is now online and up and running. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions, or if something isn't working. While TAYA Fragrances has been operating for 10 years, this is first time it will be online, and a full time business.
