For Heart of Christmas this week, I've used the new Reindeer Fun Bundle for my card. This is a flexible bundle with images you can stamp and colour, crop from the patterned paper or build this super cute little reindeer from the die cuts. I chose 2 designs from the new 6" x 6" Take a Bow paper pack with lovely small prints in traditional tones of red and green. All these products are available from 4 September. Check out more details over on my blog: https://bit.ly/HoC2024ReindeerFun
For Heart of Christmas this week, I've used the Winterly Tree Tops bundle with my favourite Pool Party and Real Red colour combo. The bold greeting is from the new Peaceful Season Bundle. Both bundles will be available from 4 September. You can find more details over on my blog: https://bit.ly/HoC2024WintTreeTops
This week at CASE-ing the Catty, we're taking inspiration from Shaker Card projects. I decided to try a faux shaker card using a Clear Medium Envelope (aka cellophane bag) as I hadn't made one before. They don't require apertures cut in the card front or foam tape, so a bit less fiddly. I've created a scene with the Lily Pond Lane patterned paper for a sweet baby card. Yay! Look what arrived in the mail today. If you’re a current customer you should be receiving one shortly, too.
Customer purchase period commences from 4 September.
It's the first week of the 2024 Heart of Christmas Blog Hop where members of the Art With Heart team share inspiration for your Christmas craft projects. I've created this Pillar Fun Fold card using products from the beautiful Season of Green & Gold Suite. There is lots of dimension to the card, but it still folds flat for posting and opens like normal to add your message. Check out my blog for more details: https://bit.ly/HoC2024Week1
I'm back with CASE-ing the Catty this week after my long holiday. We are taking inspiration from an embossing project and I chose the clean & simple layout on page 128 of the Annual Catalogue. I used the large rose from Layers of Beauty, coloured with masks and blending brushes and fussy cut. You can see more details over on my blog: https://bit.ly/CTC2024EmbossedRoses
We are taking inspiration from the Bundles pages of the Annual Catalogue for CASE-ing the Catty this week and I've chosen one of my favourites - Layers of Beauty. The large floral image was coloured with Highland Heather ink using the masks in the bundle. This bundle is very versatile in the way it can be used, so for my card I've cut the finished image into 2 pieces and placed them at either end of the dry embossed panel. You can see more details over on my blog: https://bit.ly/CTC2024BeautyHalved
This week at CASE-ing the Catty we're taking inspiration from the Take To The Sky Suite and I chose the card in the centre of page 36 with the tag. I've changed it up with the lovely bold Mediterranean Blooms DSP and the fussy cut lemon spray for the centrepiece. Blue, white and yellow is a classic colour combo. You can see more details over on my blog: https://bit.ly/CTC2024LemonBlooms
This week I joined the Art With Heart Colour Creations blog hop to celebrate Summer Splash, one of the lovely new In Colors. I've paired it with Petunia Pop, which works so beautifully. This is a simple but effective fun fold using the Unbounded Beauty DSP and Unbounded Love and Flowres of Beauty Dies for the embellishments. You can see more details and follow the hop over on my blog: https://bit.ly/AWHSummerSplash
Have you noticed the fabulous cardmaking sketches/templates at the bottom of page 22 in the new Annual Catalogue? They are a great way spark your creativity and this week the Crew are selecting one of the 22 sketches as our inspiration this week. I've chosen the 3rd last sketch on the second row with the 12 circles and banner in the centre. You can find more pics and details of how I created this fun card, over on my blog: https://bit.ly/CTC2024Sketch19
This is the fun fold Twist Corner Tri-fold card we made in class last weekend. It uses the entire 12" strip of the beautiful border sheet from the Flowering Zinnias DSP. The colours in this paper make my heart sing and put a smile on my face!
This fancy fold is also perfect for the similiar sheets in the Winter Meadow and Perennial Lavender DSP that are designed to be cut into a 12" strip. Head over to my blog to check out all the details: https://bit.ly/ZinniaFancyFold
For CASE-ing the Catty this week, we're taking inspiration from the new Mix & Match products. I've done some mix and matching with the Thoughtful Journey DSP for the background and the cute bunny from Playing In The Rain for this sweet and simple card. Wow, I almost missed it! It's my 15th Anniversary as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator today. It's been a fabulous journey that has flexed with the different periods of life and I'm enjoying being able to spend more time now, sharing what I love.
I've made lots of lovely friends over the years and had the opportunity to meet lots of like minded crafty people at fun gatherings in my home and at Stampin' Up! events.
It's a wonderful community that you too, can enjoy.

It's a new Annual Catalogue at CASE-ing the Catty this week, plus we have new Crew members, so a huge hop to inspire you! I've used the new Layers of Beauty Bundle for my card, with the masks and blending brushes to colour the large floral image. The image was cropped with the coordinating die and then I cut it apart to create my bouquet. So many options with this bundle! You can see more pics and details over on my blog: https://bit.ly/CTC2024LayersBeauty
It's the last week CASE-ing the 2023-24 Annual Catalogue and we are using a favourite project for inspiration. I've chosen one from page 102 using the Masterfully Made DSP. I chose Fresh Freesia to pair with the bold floral and created a rustic rolled rose embellishment with lots of texture and details for my card. You can see more pics over on my blog: https://bit.ly/CTC2024FaveACProject
I have another card from the class on Sunday; this time using new colours and new products. The background is Pretty in Pink, a new 2024-26 In Colour embossed with the new Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. The centrepiece is the sweet teapot of flowers using the new Country Flowers Bundle with the Country Lace and Country Woods DSP. All of these new products are available from 1st May. This the first of the 3 projects we made in my card class on Sunday, using products from the Perennial Lavender suite to create this pretty Mother's Day card. This simple fancy fold is perfect for using/showcasing your patterned papers and still has that 'wow' when you open it up. You can see more pics over on my blog: https://bit.ly/LavenderMothersDay
We're taking inspiration from retiring punches this week. I've used the sample from Page 147 of the Annual Catalogue to create this textured background with Lavender Branches for my card. Add Adhesive to the reverse side first for a super quick and easy background. You can see more details and pics over on my blog: https://bit.ly/CTC2024LavenderBDay
Sadly, it's time to say goodbye to some favourite products, so this week at CASE-ing the Catty we're taking inspiration from our favourite retiring bundle. I've chosen the Gorgeously Made Bundle from the retiring Masterfully Made Suite and combined it with a sneak peek of the new Spotlight on Nature Bundle. This new bundle includes an amazing set of 12 nested circle dies with 3 different border details and the floral imagery in the stamp set. You can see more pics over on my blog: https://bit.ly/CTC2024FaveRetBundle
Happy Easter to you and yours! This week at CASE-ing the Catty we are being inspired by the Bundles on pages 67-73 of the Mini Catalogue. I've gone with this diagonal layout using the Easter Lilies bundle to create a sympathy card for my stash. I've used a favourite design from the Flowering Zinnias DSP and ink blending to create the bold background for the dimensional lily flower. You can see more details over on my blog: https://bit.ly/CTC2024EasterLilies
For CASE-ing the Catty this week, we have a Sketch Challenge based on a frame and I've chosen to frame this lovely Magnolia image that I've coloured with Stampin' Blends markers. I've added gold accents to coordinate with the distressed gold foil checks on the background paper and added it to a Berry Burst card base to help it pop. You can see more details over on my blog and follow the inspiration from the rest of the Crew: https://bit.ly/CTC2024MagnoliaSketch
This week we're CASE-ing the Lighter Than Air DSP colours. I've created a sweet and simple card with this pretty collection of pastel colours. They are perfect for spring, Easter, baby and friendship/hello cards. The cute bunny is the centre of my focus panel and I've used all the colours in the sweet images. Last pic as we left the final session of OnStage with our lovely DDM Emma Parkin-Wilson, my roomie Wendy Ross, Lou Kitzelman and fellow member of the CASE-ing the Catty Design team, Peta Stephen.
Such a wonderful event and next year it is in Brisbane! If you would like to join me there, please get in touch. I’d love you to join my team and experience this wonderfully supportive craft community.
Our second all-attendee giveaway was this brand new fun kit - Hooray for Honeycomb. Coming in April.
Oh dear, I think this Layers of Beauty bundle has captured my heart. I LOVE roses and this beautiful image has been coloured using masks (stencils). Isn’t it gorgeous and you don’t need to like ‘colouring’ to achieve this beautiful result. The image is stamped in Copper Clay and coloured with a blending brush and Moody Mauve ink. The sample was created by Bernie Roodt from NZ. Coming in the new catalogue in May.
I'm gathering with other Demonstrators at the Stampin' Up! OnStage event at the Convention Centre in Melbourne. It has been amazing so far and we have one more day to go. This is my card that I made to swap with other Demonstrators, using the new Simply Zinnia Bundle. The flowers were coloured with Stampin' Blends in jewel colours and I added black accents for pop. You can see more pics from OnStage over on my blog, including the new Annual Catalogue: https://bit.ly/Onstage2024Swap
First prize Patrol of the day and I won this pack of sweet Lily Pond Lane DSP. Did you notice the return of Pretty in Pink? One of my all time fave colours that retired in 2018 is now back for the next 2 years.
