Fun and busy times we are sure for the Shepherd family with five of the six brothers all playing hockey.

Not sure that Garry would have enjoyed the table talk with brothers Brett, Noel & Craig all playing for Albury City while Max was playing for YA’s & Wayne, secretary of Hockey Albury Wodonga at the time previously played for Magpies.

Are you managing a team this year? Are your player numbers correct in RevSport?

There has been a small number of votes that have had to have a little bit of detective work applied to be allocated to the correct person.
Make sure your players aren't missing out on the votes they deserve! Please make sure your player numbers in RevSport match those that are on the field that day!

Players, help your managers! If you forget to wash your shirt and take your brothers/sisters or mates shirt that day, please let your manager know to update in RevSport... better still, do your washing!

We were very lucky to have quite a few roving photographers at the recent Canberra Carnival and all going well will be providing access to these photos over the next few days as they become available.

On behalf of Hockey Albury Wodonga Board of Directors, Life Members and all of our members, our sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to all members of the Pontt family on the recent passing of Neville Pontt.
Neville was a large contributor to Hockey Albury Wodonga for a number of years, particularly in relation to our Spitfire teams where he managed the Spitfires for 15 years while supporting his sons during their time playing with the team.
It was a privilege to have had Neville's commitment to the team over the years and know that many players are richer for having had his experience guiding them while managing.

Neville's funeral will be held on Thursday 13th June at 2pm at the Glenmorus Memorial Gardens, Glenroy.
