I've been doing calls to those of you who own a TM5 to tell you about our awesome trade up (see earlier posts or contact me)
A few of you have said I don't use my Thermomix enough. What is enough? I paid $50,000 for a car that I drive a round trip of 5kms a day in..... not sure that is value for money 🤪
If you are using your Thermomix and want to use it more then get in touch. Don't feel 'guilty' cause you don't think you use it enough, use it for what you want to.
Tonight I made mash in mine and served it with a pre prepared prosciutto wrapped chicken from Aldi. I don't feel guilty, I saved time and the chicken wasn't expensive, the mash was awesome 💚

I've been a bit quiet on here lately and I apologise to you all. I've been cooking, just been ultra busy with life 🤪
As some of you know my happy place is decorating cakes. Tomorrow us my birthday and I have never made my own cake.

I thought I would share a fail with you all, yes I do have them!
I didn't want to waste my cauliflower stalk so I did some googling - cauliflower chips - winner 🎊
I used my cutter to slice them nice and thin, microwaved as per recipe, sprinkled with salt pepper and spray oil.
Unfortunately I went outside for 2 minutes to get the dog...... you can see the result.

A couple of weeks ago I made the Maria Stuart caramelised leek and feta tart. It was delicious and added to my lunch menu.

Thought I would upgrade to individual tartlets. I needed more pastry (extra third) but the filling is the same. Really love how they turned out. Lunches for this week with some salad 🥰

So.... had a heap of egg whites after making Creme Broulee. My neighbour and new best cooking buddy came over to help me make Macarons. I didn't have anything to colour them with so they are au naturel and filled with a light chocolate ganache cream.
