Weaving has become one of my favourite things to do in my downtime!

Preparing my loom can take up to 2 hours sometimes, depending how straight the stick is (and I don't do straight very well... 😅)

This serie is displayed in a 70's retro decorated house we rented for a weekend with friends some weeks ago. It was incredible ❤🧡🤎💛💙

It's good to have my own creative space: no more being in transit in the kitchen, in the living room or in the bedroom. Emma is happy too: I finally found a room for Frida 😅

Tada! This is the result of my scavenger bush walk from two weeks ago. I was fortunate to go at the right time when all sorts of leaves with different colours were scattered around the bush in the Hepburn Shire.
This serie is dedicated to my friend Cameron who was amongst the very first to support me in my creativity 💕

I've been busy making a trio of macrame last week. The template I named "Chelsea" after my wonderful friend Chelsea who has been very supportive and bought one of my pieces a few weeks ago 😊
The Chelsea Macrame Bouquet holder 💐 is super elegant and it comes in ecru (also known as beige), grey and black.

I've been chasing sunflowers around town this weekend 🌻 I forgot how pretty and picture perfect they are!
I'm going to use them to display in my next trio of handmade macrame bouquet holders, watch this space! 😊

Getting used to cutting glass bottles in a straight-ish line 😅 Not so much of an "imperfect vase" in the end!

I've spent the afternoon gardening and I'm so happy with the way the garden looks now! 😍 I've trimmed the olive tree and kept some of its branches to make bunches along with statice and salvias 💐🌿

When we were in Portugal two years ago olive trees were everywhere. So naturally I chose the Portuguese wine bottle I had saved and managed to cut without breaking to use as a vase.

I pick up sticks and leaves from the nearby gum trees when I'm on my walks with Archie 🐶 Then I saw, cut, trim and polish each stick using sand paper. This is a bit of work but it's always amazing to reveal the colours and textures of the wooden sticks 😍

And this morning a butterfly stopped by right by my foot and watched as I was going on my dusty business! ❤
