Today Katie ( awesome hairdresser of normal hair that shares the salon ) and I collaborated to provide some self care for a beautiful soul.

Living through a tough time, self care has been difficult for her.

Today was a new day. A new start.

Hours of brushing out matted hair. Taking care to leave as much length as we could.
Katie then weaved her skills , washing and styling.

We all had a great day .

We started with a few peekaboo dreadies and have slowly worked our way through to almost a full head. Great way to space out long sittings in my chair, let's you decide if dreadies are for you and spread out costs. Awesome result for this travelling gypsy.

6 hr dread surgery today. I had the pleasure of sorting out some questionable work and poorly added extensions from someone else.

I love sorting out these challenges. I learn many new things everytime. I really like problem solving and making sure the client leaves me fully in love with their dreads and are the way they want them . It's your hair not mine, my clients always have full say and are listened to.

Now this awesome peep can be the gypsy soul she knows she is. Such a great result.

Installed the under the sea braid ins. They look like "beautiful mermaid hair " client was very patient with me. Her hair was short and so so soft, like feathers. It took me longer than expected. We filled in the time with much laughter and great conversation. Thank you.

I always aim to do my best. This was a challenge and I had some anxiety around letting her down and that triggered a low sugar episode for me. But we got there and I am grateful it was with this gorgeous mumma who held my space. X

Saturday half head dread day for this 2nd time around, dread family member. Such beautiful hair to dread. Great conversation and laughs.

Custom made braid ins, single ended , purple passion being sent out today. She has promised me a photo of install and I can't wait to see. I got right into making these and made a few extras as gifts. The clients enthusiasm was contagious 💜💜 let me make you something uniquely you :) pm anytime xx
