What do you do when you get home from a weekend away? Train the kids in what you’ve learned! CPR skills for all ages! In all seriousness, the statistics show an alarming increase of 27% in drownings in Victoria. Older people are in the highest category with Kids under 5yrs old being over represented. Under 5yrs of age should always be supervised and in close contact. The most common venue for drowning? Bathtubs/Spa and Pools. The best thing we can do is Prevention. Water safety knowledge and swimming skills are so important! This is your reminder to book your kids in to lessons, talk about water safety and please, watch them closely around water.
