Yoga is for every body.
It is not about the perfect pose - it's about finding freedom within the pose, even if the shape you make is unique! That is OK!
There are some general guidelines to postures, however, with some guidance of what to be aware of and how to tune in, you are the best one to know what is really serving you.
Yoga posture practice - asana - is very much an embodiment practice. It is about feeling into yourself to develop a more keen awareness of how you feel...that can sometimes take a fair bit of practice as many people are quite disconnected from their bodies.
There's no rush! Take your time! Slow it down and tune in.

Today, I wish for my dear friend that which she truly needs.
This mantra - Mahamrityunjaya Mantra - is sometimes referred to as the great death-defying mantra. Oh, how I wish for this to be!
I know we are more than this body, this breath, this persona, this mind... we are that which witnesses our body, our personality, our breath, and our mind thinking!
So, to heal is not 'not death', it is not to remain... in its very essence, it is to let go!
To be free from suffering and to be unattached to life itself.
To simply be and touch in on that eternal consciousness that is our true self.
Today, I ask for your prayers, not for life but for non-attachment to it.

In over 30 years of being a professional natural therapist, I have found a few things that are key:

π Keep it simple
π Eat real food
π Drink clean water
π Get sun at all times of day
π Sleep well
π Move your body
π Meditate daily
π Change with the seasons
π Listen in to you - tune in
π Be consistent
π Do the work - whatever that might be to really know your Self
I know that people often overlook the basics.
I know you can't out-supplement a lifestyle that does not support your well-being.
I know that often people want health but don't or won't do what they need to do to be healthy.
I understand.
Even though the basics seem simple, they are not necessarily easy to implement.
I know we are often our own worst enemy. We succumb to our fleeting wants and desires that often don't move us towards health.
I know that what is often easy and cost-effective is not necessarily healthy.
I know we are heavily marketed to and often sold untruths by companies that don't have our interests at heart.
I know the best way to well-being is to take your own health into your own hands.
I know the path to health needs to be wholistic, encompassing our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects.
I know natural medicines can support us when we need it.
I know we need to learn to connect to ourselves - to feel into ourselves, to listen in, to know ourselves.
We need to pay attention to ourselves - observe and give ourselves what we really need.

I am often blown away by the results that the regular practice of Yoga and a focus on natural health can bring.
