A pair of custom Australian hardwood timber plant stands are now with their new owner, who is absolutely thrilled with them.

There is something wonderful about discovering what is under the rough exterior of reclaimed hardwood, finding the natural beauty and warmth of the timber.

That's what we're all about at Bow's Workshop, working with only reclaimed and recycled timber, showing off its best qualities.

Two Piece is away with its new caretaker, who I know will cherish their time together.

Transfiguration is the art of turning one thing into another.
Transforming reclaimed hardwood into something new gives it a new life, and a new love.

This wand is going to a huge fan of a particular wizarding world, and will be cherished for generations.

What a great pair!

These two are heading off to Alberta, Canada and Oklahoma, USA.

So it turns out (I know, I promised I'd stop, but it's just to tempting!) that I quite enjoy making these pens.

All from various Australian hardwoods, reclaimed from the local area.

Whipped up a small batch of these headphone stands - simple, elegant, and a fantastic replacement storage location for those days you just want to feel the wind in your hair.

Gave pen turning a spin today, turned out alright. An all round winner!

Ok, enough of the puns. Gave it a whirl (ok, that's the last one... probably). It was an experience. I won't show the first attempt, so bad it didn't even end up as a complete pen.

In an unsurprising twist (sorry), my favourite client has taken ownership already, before I even got to test it out!

Sometimes it's the simple things that can be so satisfying.

Beeswax and mineral oil, add a little heat, a little magic, and some patience.

Board conditioner batched and ready for an upcoming market.

A few glamour shots of the custom handles on the wardrobe for my favourite client.

I enjoyed the creative process of coming up with these, designing and crafting. Each has its own details, with grain, inclusions and colour tones, making all unique.

And the best part: the client loves them!

Realised I hadn't posted my doors, so thought I'd get into that!

My favourite client came to me with an idea, some vague descriptions and measurements, and together we came up with these.

New floating bedside tables to go either side of an upcoming king bed (that apparently I need to get started on).

Contacted to make these for a birthday gift. Recipient recently got into brewing his own beer, so what better gift idea than beer tasting paddles!

This one off unique board went out to a happy customer recently, just in time for Christmas 🎄

Definitely the nicest one I've made so far!

It's said you always remember your first time. Here's my first market stall, held at a local school.

I usually make for fun or to order, so creating in bulk for a market was way more work than anticipated!

Great fun, hard work, totally worth it.
