What can I say, I am the worst at social media 🤣 but I am still here and still creating 🥰.
This is a recent commission for an amazing couple in NSW. Inspired by underwater coral, this tranquil abstract is an absolute statement piece in their beautiful home. Measuring at 2.4m wide, it is full of lots of glorious colours and fine details.

First layer of the Snow Gums is done - I have been wanting to paint this tree for ages as the colours are truly glorious 🥰

New Artwork: ‘Flowing through the Mountains’

This was another artwork that I have been working on over the last little while.

Flowing through the mountains is an abstract landscape inspired by a birds eye view of a valley. The aqua rivers flows through the landscape with steep mountains on either side, blended with patches of the skyline and tree foliage.

Wow! That was a way longer break from social media than what was first planned 😳 Happy to be back though ❤️

The Scarlet Macaw, Blue/Gold Macaw and Hybrid Macaw were commissioned by a beautiful couple in Sydney and are going to look amazing together in their new home.

As an artist, one of the biggest thrills is when another artist asks you to create something special just for them ❤️

Late last year, the sublimely talented Siân Eloise Art commissioned me to create a large artwork for her family home. Initially inspired by a colour scheme of one of my table centrepiece’s, I took further inspiration by looking up through ghost gums branches onto dark, raging storm clouds.

The detail work was deliberately kept delicate, with many fine details added using only graphite pencil.

It was an absolute pleasure to see where the final piece will be hanging - it looks truly perfect in its new home.

Taking lots of photos today to update the website - on such an overcast day, the colours in this abstract were just popping off the canvas 🌈

The studio is bursting with lots of unfinished works ❤️ but they will have to wait for today until I can get the juvenile red belly black snake out! Such a lovely find when I was vacuuming - not! 🐍

One of my first new works in progress for 2022! After a great break, it’s nice to be covered in paint again 😅❤️

And that’s a wrap! Goodbye 2021 and huge hello to 2022 🍾 After another week or so of holiday, I will be back in the studio painting my heart out - see you all next year 🥰
