My next video will be up sometime this evening. Not sure when, around 6-ish I guess. I had two wonderful days or walking, filming and exploring The Gap area. Friendly locals, beautiful scenery, and I was safe from all bird attacks. I hope you enjoy this latest journey!

Day 1 of filming at The Gap complete. Will be back there again tomorrow to get everything else. The Gap is one of those places I knew absolutely nothing about, so this is a real journey of discovery for me.

It's finally, finally here - my latest show and it will be premiering at 6:30pm this evening (Tuesday 10 September). This one has been in the works for ages and I apologise for the delay. I really wanted to get it right...

It's happening this evening at 6pm - my new show premieres on Youtube! Me and Marianne The House Detective explore the history and architecture of Rosalie.

Each of us made our own video of our adventures around this little former suburb. So, set your alarm. Get dinner out of the way. Put your phones on silent. Local history has never been this much fun!

There's a meet-&-greet for subscribers of the various local YouTube channels, organised for Sunday the 8th of September at the Frog's Hollow Saloon on Charlotte Street in the City. Should be a good turn out. I'm not the organiser but I'll be there - and I hope you will! I'll buy the first person who says hi to me a drink.

Filming underway in Rosalie with Marianne The House Detective

Day out on the river filming my new show. Luxury yacht. Fine weather. Good wine. Filming. I know. Life is good.

Research day in the City. Nothing else to report.

Filming at Suncorp Stadium today. I got about 75% of all the footage I needed. However, I’ve had to abandon the rest as the day is just far too windy. Branches coming down. It was getting harder and harder to get good audio. and people are everywhere; I think there’s a game on today. Will finish it later this week. 

Taking a break at the Royal Exchange at Toowong as I film my next show. The new one though is not about Toowong…

The Albion video is now up.

Huge day filming at Albion complete! This is for my next video and I gotta say, there is SO much to explore in Albion. For such a small suburb it packs a lot in. I'm now editing the show and, all being well, it'll be up on YouTube on Wednesday.

Working for myself is something I always wanted to do. Today is a research day but decided to have an early lunch. Rather pricey meals here at the Stock Exchange Hotel though. $26.90 for a Caesar salad. It’s a city venue so prices are expected to be higher.

Contemplating my future…

Lunch at The Courthouse restaurant at Cleveland to celebrate the premiere of my movie tonight.

The movie I Directed, Wrote and Executive Produced, called '1', will be premiering on 9Go! at 10:15pm Sunday the 23rd of June. (It'll probably also be available for streaming on the 9Now app afterwards). Yes for sure it is very exciting - it's what all filmmakers dream of, to get their work in front of audiences. But then, I was just as excited to finish the script. That seemed like a long journey. Then I got funding and that was incredible, as funding is perhaps the hardest part of the filmmaking journey. Then the movie got filmed and finished. Another exciting step. And then it got a distribution deal, and that's a huge accomplishment, as many films never see the light of day. And now the film has landed with the Nine Network, and I couldn't be happier. I'm of course to close to the movie to be objective about it, so it's up to the viewers now and in the future to decide what they think of it. With all that said, all that is left to say now is... I hope you enjoy it.

Day one of filming my latest video is complete. I’m following the former Woolloongabba train line. As many people know I’m not all that interested in trains, but I’m confident this will be a fun and entertaining show.
