Wonderful night as we volunteered at another soup kitchen in partnership with Masbia Soup Kitchen this Sunday! We were able to serve meals to nearly one hundred Borough Park residents.

Last night, Bowl of Hope volunteered at our first soup kitchen in partnership with Masbia Soup Kitchen this Sunday, where we served meals to nearly one hundred Midwood residents. In only a few short hours, we learned the value of teamwork when we worked cohesively to prepare and serve meals to the less fortunate, giving us a glimpse into the lives of those whom are often forgotten and overlooked in society.
We also learned how far one home cooked meal could go and impact one's life, especially for those who have to overcome living below the national poverty line and depend on resources such as these soup kitchens. After our first event, we now believe more than ever in our cause and the difference that we can make by volunteering a few hours of our own lives to helping the lives of those who are less fortunate.
