~•Cornish Turquoise•~

Did you know that you can find Turquoise in England? This special piece of Turquoise came from the South West of England in Cornwall, St Austell to be exact!
When I went home this year, my dad ( who loves all things to do with Cornish mines ) took me to the old China Clay pits where it was found!
This piece was made for my sister but I have a few more pieces if you have a love of Turquoise and Cornwall.

I love the process of connecting with people far and wide when I create custom pieces but this one was extra special as I got to meet the lovely Allie in person!
Made to mark a wedding anniversary, Allie came and picked an opal in person and collected it when it was finished. It brought tears to my eyes to see how happy she was when she saw it.
I feel truly honoured to be given this gift that can bring so much joy to others and myself ❤️ thankful daily!

Not an Opal for a change!
I recently set this beautiful Labradorite cab for a client and it got me thinking about the importance of the bale (the bit that’s attached to the pendant) it’s all about balance! I spend probably way too long making the perfectly sized bale. This huge cab needed something sturdy and strong to visually balance the stone. That piece at the top took me a while to work out but I’m so happy with how it turned out 💙
