It's proven that the more veg you eat the healthier and HAPPIER you will feel. Eating a diet high in animal produce and packaged foods have a profound impact on our health and mental wellbeing. Meat Free Mondays is a great place to start, when you make small changes one step at a time these will add up to significant improvements in your health and connection to your body and how food makes you feel.
Tips:
๐Pile up on the veggies! Eat as many as you want, especially greens
๐Look for unprocessed sources of vegetarian protein such as beans and lentils
๐Avoid replacing meat with fried food, processed or refined grains, diary or Starchy carbs etc

๐ค Did you know that Sugar is more addictive than co***ne? Sounds ridiculous right?
It affects our brain the same way as any other drug which is why humans are so freaking addicted to it yet unaware of the damage itโs causing. ๐ฌ๐ญCutting out packaged foods that are full of refined sugars and replacing traditional cooking sugars with honey, pure maple syrup, rice malt syrup and dates will mean you will still get the sweetness, plus you'll get the other benefits that these foods offer.
Steer clear of artificial sweeteners and others that claim to be natural but are also highly processed.

Shout out to my loyal and valued current clients and future families I am yet to connect with! You may have noticed our branding of the Childrenโs Health Study (CHS) has changed to the Healthy Starts Program... and this is why ๐๐ผ
The studies have been done and the results are in on 250,000 kids worldwide, (Thankyou to those families for participating) and the results speak for themselves! So many gains made, so mant lives impacted!
I love that we got to be a part of this study, and can honestly say we have blessed with very pleaseing side effects -including very few health issues, improvements in overall health, I have an almost 4 year old who eats what I we eat (a mega blessing in itself), and Iโm always making constant improvements to our healthy food habits and lifestyle!
So weโve now changed our name to the Healthy Starts Program, because we know the impact these products can have on kids and their health long term.

My delicious lil treasure requested a punnet of strawberries for his arvo skate park snack. It astounds me how much he loves his fruit & veg & requests it so often. All thanks to his chews! Healthy Child - Happy Mumma! ๐
HEALTHY BREAKFASTS!
Vanilla Chia Pudding with homemade blueberry jam - got my lil man in the kitchen to help create this beauty and we devoured it!
Ingredients:
๐1 cup coconut or almond milk
๐4 tbsp white chia seeds
๐tsp vanilla extract
๐Tbsp fresh orange juice (add zest if you like)
๐Maple syrup, raw honey or rice malt to taste
Mix together well and transfer to serving jars. Refrigerate
Jam
๐1 1/2 cups preferred frozen berries
๐ 1 Tbsp fresh orange juice
๐ 2 tbsp water, as needed
๐Maple syrup or raw honey to taste
๐ 1 tbsp chia seeds
Simmer until it thickens. Allow to cool before layering on set puddings!
ENJOY!

JBT Hassle-back Sweet potato with Pesto!
First I cleaned the potatoes well and cut off the ends, then I sliced the potatoes thinly but not all the way through (use chopsticks to help as a guide). Drizzle well with garlic olive oil, coconut oil or melted ghee and season really well. Bake at 200C until soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Drizzle with a little honey (optional).
I hand chopped a pesto of sorts - basil leaves, activated pecans, garlic olive oil, 1/4 clove grated garlic, lemon zest and juice, salt flakes, Parmesan or nutritional yeast to taste. Serve topped with pesto and a large side salad.
DELICIOUS!
