Sometimes you just need some support to get back on your own creative track.

There is something about writing your own song, about your own life or world that is really transformative, and gives people a sense of place in the world.

Just getting past that first bit of apprehension about a new skill is hard sometimes. It's so important to create a safe space for people to be creatively challenged, in a supportive environment.

Being able to share music, try out new things, be creative together; it's a great environment to learn within.

Sometimes it's hard to see the impact we have in the world. Then you get to read through the feedback sheets you collect during a project. It's amazing some of the thoughts people have about their learning process. I've decided to share some of them, to remind all of us about the impact we have as artists and educators in the world. I'll start with this one because I found it hard to find my place in the world at this age - then I found music. Thanks Cody - you are rocking the beats already!
