Reset your nervous system with a beautiful blend of Restorative Yoga and Sound Healing. Our popular "Rest Club" is back for another instalment THIS SUNDAY! If you are anything like me, you won't have had much 'me time' during December and January.. Rest Club is an opportunity for you to pause and reset. To deeply relax, unwind and reconnect to a blissful state again. Myself and Oden have created this event with the pure intention to help you to slow down, turn inwards and reset your nervous system. In this 2 hour session. Beth will share practices to help calm the nervous system (Restorative and Yin Yoga postures) and Oden will finish with a 1 hour sound journey, whilst you relax into a Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep). The sound healing is a transcendental journey performed using guitar, vocals, throat singing, traditional flute, Tibetan bowls, medicine drum, Djembe and a gong. Be prepared to feel incredibly blissed out. Where? The Melaleuca Room at the Pullman Sea Temple Resort, Palm Cove. When? Sunday 14th January 2023 3pm-5.00pm. Please arrive between 2.45pm and 2.55pm for 3pm start. Who is it for? The practices will be suitable for all levels, so everybody is welcome. What should you bring? - BYO Yoga Mat. (I have spares though, if you need to borrow one) - 2 Yoga Blocks - IMPORTANT- Bring a bolster if you have one, or 2 firm pillows from your bed if you don't. (We have 19 spares though, so let us know if you need to borrow one.) -Something to put over your eyes in the relaxation (if you like that) -Wear warm clothes (we won't be moving much, and some people get cold in the air con!) -Blanket -Water How to book- Click the ticketing link in this page to book in.
